ShortSnap respects your right to control your personal data and is committed to processing data deletion requests in a transparent and compliant manner.
How to Request Data Deletion
To request deletion of your ShortSnap account and all associated data, please send an email to:

Information Required
To verify and process your request, please include:
- The email address registered with your ShortSnap account
- Any additional information required to identify your account
Processing Time
All valid and verifiable data deletion requests are processed within 30 days of receipt.
What Data Will Be Deleted
Once your request is confirmed, ShortSnap will permanently delete:
- Saved links and references
- User-created titles, notes, collections, and tags
- Account preferences and associated metadata
- Any stored embed metadata (such as title, thumbnail, and provider name) related to saved public posts
- Any other data stored by ShortSnap that is associated with your account
Meta (Facebook & Instagram) Data
ShortSnap does not store private Facebook or Instagram content.
For public Facebook or Instagram links saved by the user:
- Only limited embed metadata retrieved via official Meta oEmbed is stored
- All such metadata is deleted when:
- A saved item is removed
- An account is deleted
- A valid data deletion request is processed
- ShortSnap does not retain Meta-related data independently of user-saved items.
Third-Party Content Disclaimer
All third-party content remains hosted and controlled by the respective platforms. ShortSnap cannot delete content hosted on external platforms and does not control third-party data retention policies.
Confirmation
Once your data deletion request is completed, your account and associated data are permanently removed and cannot be recovered. A confirmation email may be sent upon completion.
